The Stratham Conservation Commission invites you to discover the wonders of vernal pools in a workshop for kids an adults. The workshop, sponsored by the Newfields Conservation Commission and the Exeter-Squamscott River Local Advisory Committee (ESRLAC), will show you all the wonders of a vernal pool. Learn how vernal pools provide a critical habitat for salamanders, wood frogs, fairy shrimp and other creatures. Meet at Newfields town hall on Saturday, May 5th, 65 Main Street, Newfields 10 am - noon. Dress for the weather because you will be walking into the woods to inspect a vernal pool for critters!
