Here is just a few examples of what community trips we've taken in the past
Past Community Trips........
Biscuits and Scones Baking Class
King Arthur Flour’s Baking School welcomes all bakers, no matter your skill level. For this community trip will have a private class with expert instructors. The cooking class lasts for three (3) hours. Luxury bus transportation provided.
Granite State Whale Watch, Rye NH
Join us on our first ever community trip out to sea. This community trip met at Rye Harbor (1870 Ocean Blvd (Rte 1-A), Rye, NH 03870) for a whale watch expedition (4-5 hour trip). Transportation to Rye Harbor is NOT provided. Your whale watch boarding pass is not an admission to a show, but rather an opportunity to observe wild animals which, on a worldwide basis, are quite rare. Whether we sight these marvelous creatures is entirely up to the whales; the probability is quite excellent. Granite Sate Whale Watch has a 99% sighting record. Every whale watch is a true expedition rather than a sightseeing excursion. Parking is available on-site; the State of NH owns and operates the lot and charges $5.00 per car (cash only) and $10.00 per RV or bus to park for the day.
Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad
Enjoy a traditional turkey dinner aboard the train catered by Hart's Turkey Farm! Your 2-hour round-trip Turkey Dinner Train departs Meredith Station at 1:00PM and travels south along Lake Winnipesaukee though Weirs Beach towards Lakeport, NH before returning along the same route. You will have an hour to walk around downtown Meredith enjoying views of the lake, shopping or enjoying a cup of coffee before boarding the train at 1:00PM. We’ll board the bus immediately following the train ride and head back to NH around 5:00PM.
