Walking & Hiking Programs

Stratham Parks & Recreation is excited to offer seasonal adult hiking and walk programs startin in 2021.

Adult Hiking - Come explore all that the trails of Stratham Hill Park have to offer! We will venture off to different areas of Stratham Hill Park and surrounding trail network as we navigate through this amazing community resource. Hiking skills are not required, but participants must be physically able to keep up with a moderate walking pace and navigate over rocks and roots. Hikes average 3 miles in length. There are several hills that will be climbed, so participants need a certain level of physical fitness ability. Sturdy walking or hiking shoes will be required. Participants are encouraged, but not required, to use hiking poles. This is a perfect way to learn your way around the trails and feel more confident in navigation skills while visiting the Park.

open fieldAdult Waking - As the weather allows we'll meet at the Municipal Center for a stroll around the gravel path. The path is .25 in distance and with just four laps you've completed a mile. This is a great opportunity to get outside  and let the sun hit your face.
