Town Officers elected positions open for the 2018 Town Election are:

Board of Selectman: 1 position - 3 year term 

Town Moderator: 1 position - 2 year term

Supervisor of the Checklist: 1 position - 6 year term
Supervisor of the Checklist: 1 position - 2 year term

Trustees of the Trust Funds: 1 position - 3 year term

Library Trustee: 2 positions - 3 year term each

Library Trustee: 1 position - 1 year term

Cemetery  Trustee:  1 position - 3 year term

 

Stratham School District elected positions open for the Town Election are:

School Board Member:  2 positions - 3 year term each

School District Clerk: 1 position - 3 year term

How can I run for town office?

First, you must be a registered voter in Stratham. You must register to run for any elected position during the annual filing period, in person with a photo ID, at the Town Clerk's office. The filing period for 2018 starts Wednesday, January 24, 2018 to Friday, February 2, 2018.   Regular business hours are Monday 8:30am to 7:00pm; Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 8:30am to 4:00pm; and Friday 8:00am to 12:30pm. Friday, February 2nd, we will be open from 3-5 for filing purposes only.  Please call the town offices at (603) 772-4741 for more information.
