Building Permits and Operations during Town Office Closure

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic the Town of Stratham offices will be closed to the public.  The following changes are effective March 18, 2020 (revised 4/13/2020).

--All permits for “new” projects/work requests shall be emailed to dlemire@strathamnh.gov

--To apply for a permit on an open job, email Denise Lemire at dlemire@strathamnh.gov so the applicable “general” permit can be emailed directly to you (please include type of permit and property address of the project).

All permit fees due can be submitted as follows:

Please note permits will not be approved until fees due are received and projects/permits will not be closed until all permit fees are received and required inspections are completed. 

--Inspection requests will be received via telephone (603-772-7391 ext. 180) or via email dlemire@strathamnh.gov (include permit number, address of property, type of inspection requested, contractor/ contact name, telephone number, and email address).  Please allow the standard 24-48 hours when scheduling an inspection. The building inspector may contact you regarding the method for performing interior inspections.
