The Select Board
Michael Houghton, Chairman             Joe Lovejoy, Vice Chair        Allison Knab

Note: Due to the Federal holiday, the Town Offices will be closed on Monday, February 17th.  Note, the Select Board meeting will be held on Tuesday the 18th (as opposed to Monday).

Note from the Town Clerk:
Tuesday’s Presidential Primary had a 48% turnout, which was wonderful to see!   Thank you to all the residents who came out and exercised their right to vote. From your comments, it seemed like it was a smooth running election with minimum wait times in line.  Thank you also to all of my election workers and volunteers who helped make that happen!  There are three more elections this year, so I will be seeing you all again soon!

To access results from the election, please visit the Town Clerk’s Voting webpage.

Stratham's 2020-2025 Capital Improvement Plan Posted
The Select Board, Town staff and Planning Board have worked to create a new Capital Improvement Program document for the community.  The 2020-2025 Capital Improvement Plan includes information about the Town’s current and future capital needs to support its rolling stock, buildings, recreational facilities and information technology over a six-year time horizon.  In addition to a summary of the proposed appropriations for 2020, the plan also includes narrative information about each proposed project, why it is included in the plan, and the amount of funds available in past plans for the project.

This plan provides the background information for the appropriations requests at Town Meeting included in the Capital Improvement Program Warrant Article as well as the Warrant Article associated with the Capital Reserve Fund contributions.

Since this document is a new effort, we look forward to adding more useful information in the future and making other improvements. Your comments always are welcome.  The plan has been posted to the Select Board's website

Gateway Implementation - TIF Plan – Public Hearing February 20th
Thanks again to all of those who have been participating in the outreach efforts associated with realizing the vision for the redevelopment of the 108 corridor.  One procedural requirement for TIF plan adoption is the holding a separate public hearing on the TIF Development Program and Financing Plan, which will take place on February 20, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hutton Room at the Town Offices.  Also, see below for an excerpt from the frequently asked questions document being prepared for the community.  For more about Gateway Implementation and to view the draft plan as well as past Committee report and financial analyses, please visit the Town’s Gateway Implementation website.
