STRATHAM DRINKING WATER SOURCE PROTECTION PLAN
With all Stratham residents reliant on private wells for our water needs, source water quality is an important consideration for the entire community. The Rockingham Regional Planning Commission is working with the Town and a steering committee made up of representatives of the Conservation Commission and Select and Planning Boards to develop a Stratham Drinking Water Source Protection Plan. The plan, which will be advisory in nature and its recommendations non-binding, will include recommendations to ensure Stratham’s drinking water remains clean and plentiful well into the future. To learn more about this important long-term planning resource, Stratham residents are invited to participate in a public informational event on Tuesday, March 30 at 4 pm. Everyone is invited to participate, however registration is required. To register, please visit https://tinyurl.com/StrathamWater. For more information about the Drinking Water Source Protection Plan, please contact the Planning Department at (603) 772-7391, x. 147.
