ROUTE 33 NEIGHBORHOOD HERITAGE DISTRICT COMMUNITY INPUT SESSIONS SLATED FOR MAY 13 AND May 15
Representing the largest concentration of historically significant properties in Stratham, the Route 33 section of Portsmouth Avenue is a vital part of our community. The Stratham Planning Board is considering the creation of a Neighborhood Heritage District for the unique properties along the corridor.  How does a Neighborhood Heritage District work?  What would it mean for property owners?  Learn more by participating in one of the Route 33 Community Input Sessions slated for Thursday, May 13 at 6 pm or Saturday, May 15 at 10 am. Please note that both dates will include the same presentation.  Residents have the option to participate in person at the Stratham Municipal Center, 10 Bunker Hill Avenue (face coverings and social distancing required), or to participate from home electronically. Simply e-mail planning@strathamnh.gov to receive the log-in information to participate over ZOOM.  These sessions will provide an opportunity to learn more about a potential Neighborhood Heritage District designation and include plenty of time for you to pose your questions or offer your opinions.  We want to hear from you!  Your input is important and will help guide this initiative.  Learn more by visiting www.strathamnh.gov/route33

CHECKLIST SUPERVISORS SESSION NOTICE
New Hampshire law requires that the Supervisors of the Checklist verify the checklist every ten years. Any person on the checklist who has not voted in the past four years must re-register to remain on the checklist. The Supervisors are sending notice letters to these voters at the address the voter provided when registering.

The Supervisors of the Checklist for the Town of Stratham will hold two sessions for re-registering voters who have not voted since April 1, 2017, accepting applications for new voter registration, accepting requests for the correction of the checklist, and/or change of political party affiliation on:

Dates:         Monday, May 10, 2021 AND Monday, June 28, 2021
Time:          10:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
Location:     Municipal Center, 10 Bunker Hill Avenue, Stratham, New Hampshire

Voters may check party affiliation on-line:  https://app.sos.nh.gov

Eligible applicants may also register or request changes to their registration at our Town Clerk’s Office during regular business hours.  Applicants for registration who possess proof of identity, age, citizenship, and domicile should bring that proof when they come to register. Qualified applicants who do not possess proof or who do not bring proof with them may still register if they sign an affidavit attesting to their qualifications for identity, age, and citizenship, and/or domicile.

MUNICIPAL CLERK'S WEEK - MAY 2 - 8, 2021
In recognition of the vital services they perform and their dedication to serving the community, Governor Sununu has proclaimed the week of May 2nd as Municipal Clerks Week.  We join him in appreciating the effort and hard work of Stratham's own municipal clerks.  Thank you Joyce, Deb, Tara and Jim.
