PROTECT YOUR TAXPAYER INVESTMENT!  DPW REQUEST
Please aware that there have been recent instances where newly reconstructed roadways have been damaged by private contractor’s equipment within days of the reconstruction.  This damage can result in potholes and cracks and lead to long term problems.  Damage results not only from equipment but also from materials such as stone, gravel, soil and mulch on top of our roadways; this practice scars and contributes to silting of storm drains.

Please assist us to to protect your investments.  Be present when contractors or rented equipment is being used on your property.  Require equipment to be off loaded onto private driveways or lawn.  Replacement of a few yards of soil and grass seed is far less costly than the tens of thousands that goes into paving the roadway past your private frontage. Thank you for your consideration.
