The Stratham Planning Board and Planning Department is working with the Rockingham Regional Planning Commission to develop a Source Water Protection Plan for the Town. The Plan will include recommendations to help improve source water quality in Stratham. The plan is advisory in nature and none of the recommendations are binding. It will function essentially as a Master Plan focused specifically on source water resources.
On March 30, 2021, the Town and Rockingham Regional Planning Commission hosted an electronic Public Information session for residents to learn more about the plan and how it can used in Stratham. Video of the event is embedded at the bottom of this page and linked below:
When the draft plan is complete, it will be uploaded to this site for review. Development of the Source Water Protection Plan is guided by a sub-committee of Town Staff and Board and Commission members. Members of the sub-committee include: Mark Connors, Town Planner; Kyle Saltonstall, Conservation Commission member; Allison Knab, Select Board member; Shanti Wolph, Building Inspector/Code Enforcement Officer; and Robert Roseen, Planning Board member. The Stratham Town Administrator and Public Works Director are also participating in the review of the document.
