Stratham Recreation Commission Action Sheet

September 18, 2019

This action sheet is provided as a means of communicating actions of the Stratham Recreation Commission to the public in a timely manner. Meeting Minutes associated with this meeting will be published following drafting and approval of the Commission.

At 7:02 pm, Brian DeKoning opened the meeting.

In Attendance: Tracy Abbott, Sean Burke, Brian DeKoning, Joe Lovejoy, April Mason

Absent: Sean Kotkowski, Frank LaSorsa, Jeff Simeone

Special Guests: Seth Hickey, Parks & Recreation Director; David Moore, Town Administrator

I               Secretary’s Report:  August Meeting Minutes will be voted on at our next meeting

II             Parks & Recreation Director Report

Seth discussed the Dashboard with us that he presents to the Select Board.

The Department’s Mission Statement has been created and is ready for review.

III            Communications and Miscellaneous:

No communications

IV            Old Business

None discussed

V             New Business

                A.   Our Commission’s Action Sheet will be created within 5 days of our meeting

                B.   Seth will be creating/consolidating information into a Youth Sports Policy Manual

                C.   Discussed the new policy the Select Board has adopted for naming facilities/parks/open spaces

                At 8:40pm, Brian motioned to adjourn the meeting, Sean B. seconded, all in favor. Meeting adjourned.
