DISCUSS DRAFT VISION STATEMENT PROVIDED BY MERRILL

Merrill, Cushman, and Swett collaborated on the draft statement.  The first paragraph was intended to be the statement.  The balance of the work was offered as backup.  Comments and suggestions were offered.  Merrill will take under advisement and revise.

DISCUSS SURVEY AND MEDIA TO REACH TARGET AUDIENCES

Dane presented his draft of survey questions to be distributed to measure residents’ views on the future of the Route 108 corridor.  Responses were very positive.  Committee members thanked Dane for his work. Suggested means of distributing the survey including: Email, Stratham Magazine, link on Town website, postings at Town Offices and library. Members acknowledged that while survey would not be statistically accurate, it would provide valuable feedback.  Consensus was to proceed, look into Survey Monkey account.

POSITION OF CHAIR

Lovejoy indicated he would continue as Chair.  Committee offered full support.

MEETING HANDOUTS

Draft vision statement.

OTHER MATTERS BEING PURSUED

Baseline condition for the estimates will assume the Town will act independently, not partner with another community.
