NiceRink® Skating Rink

NiceRink® at Stratham Hill Park
We stress the importance of checking the rink status on the homepage before heading over to the rink. Mother Nature is unpredictable! Please respect the CLOSED signs when posted. Accessing the NiceRink® when it's posted closed could cause issues for future use.
Shovels are provided next to the stage for skaters to use following use. This will help us keep the rink open longer for everyone’s enjoyment. If you are so inclined to shovel the rink after use PLEASE be sure to push the snow to the outsides of the rink and shovel off. Leaving piles of snow on the ice causes future damage to the ice.
The Town of Stratham is fortunate to have two (2) of our very own outdoor ice skating areas at Stratham Hill Park! The natural area is located along Rt. 33 and the NiceRink® is located in front of the stage on the basketball courts. These surfaces have enough area for playing ice hockey and area for those just looking to skate. Rink users should park in the main lot or the lot by Jack Rabbit Lane.
Lights are available on both skating surfaces with a timer that goes off at 9:00PM. The NiceRink® lights can be accessed via the left side of the stage and the natural area lights in the warming hut located near the main parking lot.
We try our best to keep the surface ready for use during the winter months. The snow is cleared by the Parks and Recreation Staff and we add water to resurface as necessary. At this time, we don't have equipment rentals or skating lessons. We do offer a great time for your family (when the ice is good!).
