Boys & Girls 3rd & 4th Grade – Teams will practice one (1) night per week and play one game on Saturday mornings or afternoons (a possible 2 game weekend, if there are an odd number of teams).  Teams are formed with 8-11 players and travel is required to Greenland, Kensington, North Hampton, Rye and East Kingston.  The game format will be full court, 5v5, four 10 minute quarters, running time with patched officials and/or volunteer/high school referees.

Boys & Girls 5th & 6th Grade - Teams will practice one (1) night per week on and play one game on Saturday mornings or afternoons (a possible 2 game weekend, if there are an odd number of teams).  Teams are formed with 8-11 players and travel is required to Greenland, Kensington, North Hampton, Rye and East Kingston.  The game format will be full court, 5v5, four 10 minute quarters, running time with patched officials and/or volunteer/high school referees.

Travel Teams for Grades 3/4, 5/6, & 7/8 - This program is designed for the more developed basketball players, from a skills perspective, who can commit to more games and practice time than just what the rec program offers. Travel teams will participate in the newly formed Seacoast Travel League and play a variety of teams throughout the Seacoast, northern Massachusetts, and southern Maine.  Players can expect practicing and/or playing games up to 2 additional days per week beyond commitments to other teams (Rec or CMS, travel will not interfere with these two programs).  The season will begin run from early December up to February break.  Additional tournaments may be scheduled at the coach’s discretion in March and early April.

Registration: Grades 3/4 and 5/6: Please express interest in the travel program at time of recreation registration.  All 3/4 and 5/6 players selected for the travel team MUST register and play for the recreation program. Grades 7/8: Please register specifically for the travel program.

Since the travel teams are dependent on registration numbers, commitment of volunteer coach(es), and available gym time, the season fee of $175 is NOT collected until teams are formed.  Teams are selected following the close of recreation registration.  Should there be a need, tryouts will be scheduled for early November.
