Fire Department Auxiliary
The Stratham Fire Department Auxiliary has proudly supported the Stratham Volunteer Fire Department for over 50 years, helping advance the department’s mission to protect the lives and property of Stratham residents. The Auxiliary provides both financial support and hands-on assistance, strengthening the department’s ability to serve the community.
Beyond supporting the Fire Department, the Auxiliary plays an active role in town life and community care. Their efforts include:
-
Providing food and support at SummerFest, town elections, 9/11 Memorial Remembrance, Veterans Day ceremonies, the annual Christmas Tree Lighting, winter bonfires, and other local events
-
Assembling and delivering holiday food baskets for homebound residents
-
Providing food and gas cards to families in need during the holidays
-
Coordinating and hosting bi-annual blood drives
-
And much more—because community support doesn’t run on a schedule
The Auxiliary meets on the third Thursday of each month at the Stratham Fire Station and welcomes new members. You do not need to be affiliated with the Fire Department to join, just a willingness to help and a bit of community spirit.
And if you see Big Red out and about at local events, be sure to say hello; it probably means the Auxiliary is nearby, lending a hand.
