7/26/17

Present: Tim Copeland, Bill McCarthy, Joe Lovejoy, Bob Keating, Bill Kenny, Ana McCarthy, Pat Elwell

Meeting called to order at 7:00 pm.

The Conservation Commission welcomed new member Ana Egana to the Commission.  She was appointed by the Selectmen and sworn in today.  Members are reminded to be sworn in by the Town Clerk.

Minutes
Minutes from the 7/12/17 meeting were not available to review.

Mailbox
There was no mail to review.

Municipal Updates

• Sullivan subdivision on Whitaker, Paul and Joe attended the site walk tonight. The owner is proposing a 5 house culdesac. The PB wants the Whitaker culdesac to be joined to the new proposed road but so far plans presented do not reflect that.  There is a disputed wetland border on the site.
• The Park Ranger job has been posted.
• The Stratham Fair had good weather and a record breaking Sunday.
• $148,000 was given to the Town from the State for local highway repair.  The Town has to vote to receive this portion of the state surplus fund.

Social Media Policy

The town has developed a new Social Media Policy and Guidelines. Allison received a copy and needs, as the chair, to review and approve with the CC and assign a member to any social media outlet that would be listed as a Stratham Conservation Commission site.                 

Scamman Cell Tower

The lawsuit for the Scamman cell phone tower has been withdrawn.

Tim moved, Bill K. seconded to adjourn the meeting. Motion passed.
