Due to the New Year holiday, trash / recycling pick up will be delayed by one day for only the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday collections.
SMS 5th Grade Christmas Tree Pickup Fundraiser - Saturday, January 4
Leave the tree removal to us and help support a good cause! Your $10 donation for tree pickup will help fund activities for SMS 5th grade students. Deadline to register is Wednesday, January 1. SIGN UP HERE.
Stratham Lights4Lives Community Bonfire
The collected trees will be donated to Stratham Parks and Recreation for a bonfire at 6pm on Jan. 4 at Stratham Hill Park. Join us for a fun, open to all, community event!
At the 2022 Town Meeting, the town voted to purchase a new ambulance which was funded by revenues from the ambulance operations (EMS special revenue fund). It has arrived and will be on the road in January!
Who’s going to be the 2025 Top Dog of Stratham? Monthly email reminders will begin January 1,2025. Register by April 30, 2025 and your pup will automatically be entered to receive this prestigious title!
Town Meeting and budget season ramps up in January. We have begun populating the Stratham Town Meeting 2025 webpage, including key dates for Town Meeting preparations. In January, we begin work with the Budget Advisory Committee in preparation for a public hearing on the Budget and Warrant scheduled for February 3, 2025.
January 8, 2025 is the public hearing on the School District Budget. More information about the local school district budget process can be found here.
January 16, 2025 is the Deliberative Session for the Exeter Regional Cooperative School District (ERCSD). More information about the Cooperative’s budget process can be found here.
