Chocolat Movie Matinee Join us for a matinee showing of "Chocolat" on the big TV in the Hutton Room on April 16th at 2pm. Chocolat tells the story of Vianne Rocher, played by Juliette Binoche, who arrives in the fictional French village of Lansquenet-sous-Tannes at the beginning of Lent with her six-year-old daughter, Anouk. She opens a small chocolaterie. Soon, she and her chocolate influence the lives of the townspeople of this repressed French community in different and interesting ways. Goat Hike May 6th, 9:45am - 2:30pm $34 for Stratham residents, $41 for non-residents MUST BE ABLE TO COMFOTABLE WALK/HIKE ONE-MILE IN THE WOODS WITHOUT REST. Our group with stop for lunch at a cafe or restaurant on the way home! Van leaves at 9:45am! Portsmouth Historical Walking Tour May 12th, 2026 from 10am - 2:30pm $25 for residents, $28 for non-residents Van will leave the Stratham Municipal Center at 10am! Group will get lunch in Portsmouth after the tour. The Historic Portsmouth Walking Tour is 90 minutes long and led by a private guide with headsets for each guest. This tour begins and ends at the Portsmouth Historical Society Welcome Center (10 Middle Road, Portsmouth). The tour showcases the streets, stories, buildings, and architecture of historic downtown Portsmouth. The loop is roughly one mile and guests will be on uneven brick sidewalks. |

Weekly Walking Group
Stroll along with Diane Smith and other locals every Thursday morning for our weekly walking group. The group meets at 9am at the Great Bay Discovery Center located on Depot Road in Stratham, NH. Diane will lead you on a relaxing three mile walk around quiet neighborhoods at a conversational pace. We welcome new members! Make new friends while getting fit!!

Come join us for Yummy Yoga with Diane Smith, certified Yoga teacher and new Program Assistant for Stratham Parks & Recreation. Enjoy gentle flow yoga geared specifically for those new to yoga or those who are interested in a gentle practice. This class incorporates simple flowing sequences to warm up the body, as well as slower paced movements focusing on alignment, strength, balance, and flexibility.

“2-over-1 GAME FORCE” Want to brush up on your Bridge skills? Join Joe Watts, seasoned Bridge player to learn and play duplicate bridge. A basic knowledge of Bridge is required. I.e., previous experience with “Party Bridge” or Bridge according to Goren. Also intermediate players who would like to learn two over one are welcome. All supplies and lesson handouts will be provided.
Bridge is an excellent “brain” game with both strategy and social interaction being key. Don’t be intimidated, this will be a no pressure friendly atmosphere experience.
