It shall be the mission of the Stratham Historical Society, Inc., to promote the study of the prehistoric and the historic past of Stratham, New Hampshire, and of communities and cultures related to that history. In promoting this study, the Society will encourage the collection, preservation, documentation, exhibition and interpretation of genealogy, artifacts, documents, and any other materials or information that becomes available to the Society. Research, exhibits, facilities, archives and programs will be used to inform and educate the public. The Society will foster cooperation with other organizations, agencies, societies and professions having common interests and purpose.
The Stratham Historical Society is a not for profit organization rather than an appointed Town Committee.
