Attorney General’s Office Reports 6-month Extension for ALS Paramedic Program
The AG’s office has announced an extension the Exeter Hospital-sponsored Exeter ALS program beyond December and until the Spring of next year (six-month extension). The Select Board continues to progress on its efforts outlined in this message to the community from the last newsletter and posted here. In short, these efforts include supporting the AG’s Office to preserve Exeter Hospital ALS programming, following efforts to stand-up alternative regional solutions, preparing to add paramedic level care from the Stratham Fire Station, and working closely with our neighboring communities to invest in additional cooperation.

We would like to extend our Congratulations to Officer Migliore and Officer Knight for the completion of the 197th Police Academy on October 4, 2024.
Officer Migliore is a graduate of Bridgewater State University with a degree in Criminal Justice. She was a major transport operator in the US Army for six years. Her dedication to service is strong and we look forward to having her here in Stratham to work with the team keeping the Stratham community safe.
Officer Knight is a graduate of UNH with a Bachelors in History. He was a Sgt. and marksmen in the Army. In his spare time he you can find him by land, air or sea, as he will be in the woods hunting, on a boat spearfishing or in the air flying.
We look forward to celebrating their graduation on Friday, October 4th at the Police Standards and Training Center in Concord. They will then be sworn into office during the Select Board meeting on Monday, October 7th, 2024.

The 4th Annual Stratham First Responders FALL CLASSIC Golf Event was held yesterday, October 3, at The Golf Club of New England in Stratham. The weather was absolutely perfect. Congratulations to the winning foursome of : Joseph Saia, Gary Vrotsos, Nick Smith, John Sirois. The winners were first-time players this year. It was an exciting one stroke victory with a final best score of 55 – narrowly beating the Second-Place score of 56, and a Third-Place score of 58. Our sincere thanks to all who participated in the tournament and to the many sponsors who support us in the annual fundraiser. 100% of the event proceeds go to our Fire and Police departments to support additional training, equipment, and special projects like our Lights 4 Lives program.
We are thrilled to announce that Lights 4 Lives is partnering with the Stratham Volunteer Fire Department this year to raise awareness of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in First Responders. We are also raising funds to help train Cocoa, a service dog for one of our own Stratham First Responders.

Antiquarians Dan Olmstead of Olmstead Antiques in Newfields and Greg Pruitt and Lionel Loveless of Collector's Eye in Stratham and Route 1 Antiques in Hampton Falls are back to appraise a wide range of heirlooms and artifacts.
