2024 STATISTICAL UPDATE / PROPERTY REVALUATION

As we have shared in this newsletter, the NH constitution and statutes require property subject to a tax based on value, be valued anew at least every five years.  The last revaluation in Stratham was completed in 2019.

Next steps include:
1. Preliminary values will be sent out to households in late summer of this year.
2. Residents will have an opportunity to request informal hearings for concerns, questions and/or clarification of their values.
3. New values will be utilized to calculate the second-half tax bills that go out at the end of the year.

More information about the revaluation can be found on the Town’s Assessing website including:

Flag DayToday, June 14th, is Flag Day.  It is the day set aside to commemorate the adoption of the flag of the United States on June 14, 1777 by resolution of the Second Continental Congress.  Each year the U.S. president delivers an address that proclaims the week of June 14 as National Flag Week, and all Americans are encouraged to fly U.S. flags during that week.
