Stratham Select Board
Allison Knab, Chair            Joe Anderson, Vice Chair            Tedd Tramaloni

WELCOME TO OUR NEWEST SELECT BOARD MEMBER,
TEDD TRAMALONI

We welcome Tedd Tramaloni to the Select Board.  He brings with him a 50-year career in broadcast television, where he worked in roles ranging from Executive Producer to Business Development Manager and later founded his own production company.  After retiring from the industry in 2024, he earned his FAA Part 107 certification to pursue commercial drone work.  He has also served on Stratham's Budget Advisory Committee for the past three years.  We are pleased to welcome him to the Board and look forward to the collaborative experience and problem‑solving skills he brings to this new role.

CELEBRATING 75 YEARS OF THE STRATHAM VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT
The Town of Stratham is proud to recognize 2026 as the 75th Anniversary Year of the Stratham Volunteer Fire Department.  Since its founding on April 25, 1951, the department has grown from a small volunteer group into a premier emergency response organization, providing top‑tier fire, rescue, and paramedic‑level emergency medical services.

This milestone honors the vision of the department’s first leaders—especially founding Fire Chief Ernest T. Wiggin—whose dedication set the standard for decades of service.  Today, the department remains a cornerstone of our community, not only through its emergency response work but also through beloved traditions like SummerFest, the First Responder Fall Classic, and annual memorial ceremonies.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the volunteers—past and present—who balance demanding training and emergency calls with their work, school, and family lives.  Their commitment reflects the very best of Stratham’s community spirit.

Please join the Select Board in celebrating 75 years of exceptional service and in thanking the men and women who continue to protect and strengthen our town.

NEW DUGOUTS, THANKS TO RIVER BIRCH BUILDERS!
Last year, the Town was faced with the need to remove the two dugouts at Binette Field due to significant deterioration. River Birch Builders generously donated their time, skill, and craftsmanship to rebuild both dugouts which are almost complete.  Their contribution has helped restore an important part of the field, ensuring it remains a safe and welcoming space for our players and families.  We are incredibly grateful for their support and commitment to the community and we ask that you please join us in thanking River Birch Builders for their outstanding work!

DROUGHT CONDITIONS CONTINUE
Even with the recent rain and snow, drought conditions continue across the region.  In September 2025, the Select Board adopted Level 1 water restrictions under RSA 41:11‑d, and these measures remain in effect.

Until further notice, lawn watering is limited as part of a statewide effort to protect groundwater supplies that are essential to Stratham’s households and businesses.  Any steps residents can take to reduce water use will help safeguard the resources we all depend on.

The Select Board will continue to monitor conditions and may implement additional restriction levels if the drought persists or worsens.

Following are Level 1 restrictions.
i.    Lawn watering by odd numbered addresses is allowed on odd numbered days.
ii.   Lawn watering by even numbered addresses is allowed on even numbered days.
iii.  Lawn watering shall not occur between the hours of 8am and 7pm.
