Stratham Softball
New this year! Stratham Rec Softball will be JOINING FORCES TO MAKE ONE LEAGUE with Exeter Jr Baseball & Softball League (EJBSL).
Stratham players will participate and combine with Exeter and other SAU 16 towns in the league to form even teams. This is done with both an emphasis on keeping friends and Stratham children together as much as possible, while also ensuring an even playing field.
Stratham coached teams will be able to practice and play home games on Stratham softball fields.
All 1st - 6th grade softball players will sign-up with EJBSL at EJBSL.org
The softball t-ball program is designed to introduce young girls to the fundamentals of softball in a fun and supportive environment. The primary goal is to build confidence and a love for the game. Teams will be formed of Stratham kids only. The program takes place on Saturday mornings. Sessions are ninety minutes in length and are divided into two parts: the first 45 minutes focus on individual skills and softball fundamentals, while the remaining 45 minutes are dedicated to structured game play, with coaches continuing to provide guidance during the game. The program runs from April 18th through June 13th (with no games over Memorial Day weekend). Programming will be in Stratham ONLY.

ATTENTION ALL PARENTS: COACHES NEEDED!
PLEASE SIGN UP TO COACH WHEN YOU REGISTER YOUR CHILD TO PLAY. We will provide instruction. There will be training for all volunteer coaches and a mandatory background screening. This training will focus on coaching fundamentals and philosophy as well as provide guidance for creating and running practices and games.
