The Town of Stratham is seeking a qualified and experienced Facilities Maintenance Lead to perform skilled maintenance, repair, and custodial work across Town-owned buildings and facilities. This position serves as a lead for daily building maintenance operations and works closely with custodial staff, contractors, and Town departments to ensure facilities are safe, clean, and operational.

Position DetailsEmployment Status: Full-Time, Hourly (Non-Exempt)
Pay Rate: $26.00 – $32.00 per hour, depending on qualifications
General ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to, skilled maintenance work such as light plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, HVAC upkeep, coordination of custodial tasks, oversight of vendors and contractors, preventative maintenance scheduling, safety system inspections, recordkeeping, and response to emergency maintenance needs. This position may also assist with snow removal and other DPW operations during major storm events. Overtime may be required as needed.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in building maintenance or a related field
- Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and structural systems
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
