EMS - Call Member

The Town of Stratham is accepting applications for EMS Call Members to support emergency medical response and community health services. This is a paid, on-call volunteer position. Prior EMS experience is preferred but not required. Training and support are provided.

Responsibilities Include
  • Responding to emergency medical calls and providing pre-hospital patient care
  • Assessing patients, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with treatment and transport
  • Completing patient care reports accurately and promptly
  • Participating in training, drills, and continuing education
  • Maintaining EMS equipment, ambulances, and station readiness
  • Supporting community EMS outreach and public education activities
Minimum Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Current National Registry EMR, EMT, or AEMT certification with a New Hampshire EMS license
  • Valid New Hampshire driver’s license (or ability to obtain)
  • Ability to meet department medical, physical, and training requirements
  • Successful background check
  • ICS 100/200 required within the first year (if not already obtained)
