The Town of Stratham is accepting applications for Per Diem Firefighter/EMTs to support fire suppression, emergency medical services, and public safety operations. This is a paid, part-time per diem position, scheduled based on departmental needs and individual availability, with a maximum of 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities Include
- Responding to fire, EMS, rescue, and hazardous material incidents
- Providing basic life support (BLS) care in accordance with medical protocols
- Assisting with fire suppression, search and rescue, and scene safety operations
- Operating and maintaining fire apparatus, EMS equipment, and PPE
- Participating in training, drills, and certification requirements
- Completing incident reports and required documentation accurately and timely
- Supporting public education programs and community events
- Performing station duties to maintain operational readiness
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- National Registry EMT certification required (AEMT preferred)
- Current or eligible for New Hampshire EMS Provider license
- NH Firefighter I certification required (Firefighter II preferred)
- Current CPR certification
- Valid New Hampshire driver’s license (CDL preferred)
- Ability to meet department medical, physical, and training requirements
- Successful background check
