The Town of Stratham is accepting applications for a Shift Paramedic to provide advanced life support services and serve as the senior medical authority on assigned ambulance crews. This position plays a key role in EMS operations, training, and community outreach.

Responsibilities Include
- Providing advanced life support care and administering medications in accordance with medical protocols
- Serving as the senior medical authority on the ambulance and emergency scenes
- Assessing patients, monitoring vital signs, and completing patient care documentation
- Transporting patients safely and communicating pertinent information to receiving facilities
- Maintaining accountability and chain of custody for paramedic-level drugs and equipment
- Participating in shift training, Tuesday night department training, and continuing education
- Assisting with EMS equipment, ambulance checks, and station maintenance
- Supporting EMS training and mentorship for EMR, EMT, and AEMT personnel
- Participating in community outreach and public education activities
Minimum Requirements
- National Registry Paramedic certification required
- Valid New Hampshire Paramedic license
- Valid New Hampshire driver’s license
- Minimum of one to three years of paramedic experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Ability to meet department medical, physical, and training requirements
- Successful background check
