Firefighter - Call Member

The Town of Stratham is accepting applications for Firefighter – Call Members to support emergency response and public safety operations. This is a paid, on-call volunteer position.

Responsibilities Include
  • Responding to emergency incidents such as fires, rescues, and motor vehicle accidents
  • Participating in training, drills, and continuing education
  • Assisting with equipment, apparatus, and station maintenance
  • Supporting fire prevention and community outreach activities
Minimum Requirements
For Stratham Residents
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid New Hampshire driver's license (or ability to obtain).
  • Ability to meet department medical, physical, and training requirements.
  • Successful background check.
  • Firefighter I, CPR, and ICS training required (may be obtained after appointment).

For Non-Stratham Residents
At this time, applicants who do not reside in Stratham must already possess State of New Hampshire Firefighter I and EMT certification at the time of application.
Firefighter II and AEMT or Paramedic certification are preferred.
