35th Annual Spring Appraisal DayThe "
Stratham Antiques Road Show"
The Stratham Historical Society will host its 35th Annual Spring Appraisal Day. Stratham's homespun version of "The Antiques Road Show" is always well-attended and the event about which people keep asking throughout the year for the next Appraisal Day date. SHS members, Stratham residents and friends from neighboring communities bring in antiques, heirlooms and artifacts to gather information and learn of an estimated value. Verbal opinions are given by Dan Olmstead of Olmstead Antiques in Newfields and Greg Pruitt and Lionel Loveless of Route 1 Antiques in Hampton Falls. This is an important fundraising event where there will be a $5 charge for 1 item, $8 charge for 2 items, $12 for 3 items, $15 for 4 items and $18 for 5 items. For large furniture pieces and other large items, our appraisers are happy to work from photographs. We hope to see you there!
