Committee charge is to expand town communication methods and channels:

• Establish a comprehensive, multi-channel approach with an array of digital tools and traditional methods.
• Build Trusted Partnerships - Focus on transparency, use numerous feedback methods and engage with diverse population segments by reaching them in different ways and at various locations.
• Diversify Engagement Methods - Relying on a single format excludes large segments of the population.
  A "mixed method" approach ensures broader representation. 
• Foster Transparency and Feedback - Trust is destroyed when residents feel their input disappears into a "black hole". 
• Lower Barriers to Participation - Participation often fails because it’s inconvenient or physically inaccessible. 
• Prioritize areas which generate the best return on resources and cost.
