STRATHAM COMMUNITY GARDEN UPDATEAlthough the gardening season is slowing down and the weather is turning colder, the Stratham Community Garden is still looking beautiful! In September the garden enjoyed hosting two events. Our open house to celebrate the garden’s completion was a cheerful day filled with sunshine, friendly faces, and many new visitors touring the space. In addition, the seniors hosted their luncheon on the garden grounds, where neighbors gathered at the newly donated picnic tables to share delicious summer-inspired dishes and enjoy each other’s company. Meanwhile, our gardeners have continued giving back to the community—together, we have now donated more than 500 pounds of fresh produce to Gather and the Newmarket Community Church Pantry. If you are interested in your own little slice of gardening heaven, there is still time to sign-ups to reserve a 4x8 raised bed for the 2026 gardening season. Find an application on our website or send an email to strathamcommunitygarden@gmail.com for more information.
