The Town of Stratham launched a community power aggregation program in early 2024 and has saved residents north of $400,000 collectively during the first year of operation. We have gone through 2 periods of rate change in 2024, 2 periods of rate changes in the first half of 2025, and new rates starting as of 8/1/2025.
In February 2025, the Unitil default ‘energy supply rate’ was lower than the Stratham default ‘community power rate.’ This will continue to be the situation during the August 2025 – January 2026 rate period.
