These calculators provide customers with a quick and convenient way to estimate their registration fees before completing their transaction.
Vehicle Registration Fee Calculator

 
Customers can access the calculator by:

  1. Visiting the NH DMV website by clicking on the following link: Welcome to the New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles | NH Division of Motor Vehicles
  2. Selecting Vehicles, Boats, and Titles.
  3. Clicking Vehicle Registrations.
  4. Scrolling to Related Resources.
  5. Selecting Vehicle Registration Fee Estimation.
  6. Entering the vehicle's VIN and clicking Look Up Vehicle.
  7. Selecting Confirm Your Vehicle and choosing the correct vehicle.
  8. If the vehicle is in MAAP, available vehicle information will automatically populate.
  9. If the vehicle is not in MAAP, the customer can manually enter the missing information.
  10. Click Next, then select Calculate Fees to view the estimated registration fee.

 

Please note: The fee shown is an estimate based on a 12-month registration.

  2. Selecting Vehicles, Boats, and Titles.
  3. Clicking Boat Registration.
  4. Scrolling to Related Resources.
  5. Selecting Boat Registration Fee Estimation.
  6. Entering the vessel's HIN and clicking Next.
  7. If the vessel is in MAAP, available vessel information will automatically populate.
  8. If the vessel is not in MAAP, the customer can manually enter the missing information.
  9. Select Calculate Fees to view the estimated vessel registration fee.
