Summer Hours (April through November):
Every Saturday: 9:00am to 4:00pm
Every Thursday: 2:00pm to 6:00pm

Winter Hours (December through March):
1st and 3rd Saturdays of the Month: 9:00am to 4:00pm

 

To use the Transfer Station, all residents must have a resident sticker affixed to the upper interior corner of the passenger side windshield of their vehicle.
Resident stickers are available for purchase for $10.00 at the Town Clerks office ONLY at the time of your vehicle registration month. 
2025 stickers will be valid until your vehicle registration month of 2026. 

Currently, only checks are accepted for payment at the Transfer Station and must be written in Blue or Black ink only. 


UNACCEPTED ITEMS

The following items are PROHIBITED from being dropped off at the Transfer Station: 

This list is not all inclusive. The attendant has the right to refuse any material they deem hazardous or harmful. 

• Aerosol Cans / Containers
• Ammunition
• Animal Remains
• Asbestos in ANY Form
• Batteries & their Components or Pieces
• Explosives
• Gasoline
• Hazardous Wastes including (but not limited to) Solvents, Acids, Antifreeze, or Preservatives
• Insecticides and their Containers
• Medical Waste
• Oil based Paints and Chemicals and their Containers
• Radioactive Waste
• Septage of Any Kind or Related Items
• Tires
• Used Oil Filters

Fines for prohibited items are $100.00 to $3,000.00 (Plus any clean up costs.)
