Conservation Commission

No one can do everything, but everyone can do something. And if everyone does something, we can change the world.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Stratham Conservation Commission is to preserve local natural resources through land acquisition, stewardship and education.

If you are interested in presenting to the Conservation Commission, or would like to request a topic be placed on an upcoming agenda, please contact Town Planner Mark Connors at mconnors@strathamnh.gov who will confer with the Commission Chair.

There is an opening to serve on the Conservation Commission.  The Commission works to preserve open spaces and natural resources and the overall health of the Town’s natural environment.  The Commission leads land preservation efforts in Stratham and oversees conservation land to ensure it is maintained appropriately.  The Commission also advises the Select Board and Planning Board on issues related to open spaces, natural resource protection, and land preservation and organizes volunteer events to promote good environmental stewardship.
