Tuesday Tunes at Stratham Hill Park

Did someone say live music and free ice cream? They sure did! Join us on Tuesday, July 16, from 5pm-8pm in and around the Front Pavilion at Stratham Hill Park. Bring your family and friends for an evening of summer fun. Hodgies Too! will be providing free ice cream and a food truck(TBD) will be serving up dinner for purchase. Live performance by the Southern NH Ukulele Group. Bring your folding chairs, blankets, and coolers to gear up for a fun community night at the park.

Registration NOT required. Ice cream is first come first serve, limited supply.


Blueberry Picking at Blueberry Bay Farm

On the morning of July 15th, come meet us at the beautiful Blueberry Bay Farm on Depot Road in Stratham, NH. Our host, Dena Stearn, will give us a a tour of the grounds followed by blueberry picking on your own. BBF is re a CHEMICAL-FREE farm (no spray of any kind on the crops; no insecticides, no fungicides, no herbicides; organic or synthetic). They encourage people of all ages to pick and enjoy the freshest possible, most nutritious and the safest food. Shop in their little farm store where you can buy homemade blueberry jam, merchandise and more!

Meet at the farm at 11:30am on July 15th. 38 Depot Road, Stratham, NH. Registration NOT required.


Crazy for You at the Ogunquit Playhouse - Community Trip

Join us on July 12th for a matinee performance of the tap-dancing extravaganza, riotously entertaining, and Tony Award-winning Best Musical, Crazy for You!! The department’s van will leave the Stratham Municipal Center at 11:30am for a pre-show lunch at the Stonewall Kitchen Café in York, ME before heading due north to America’s foremost summer theatre, The Ogunquit Playhouse.

Economy Seating: $60.00 per person (residents), 65.00(non-residents)

Select Seating: $70.00 per person (residents), 75.00(non-residents)

Transportation Included. Lunch not included. Registration required.


Weekly Walking Group

Stroll along with Diane Smith and other locals every Thursday morning for our weekly walking group. The group meets at 9am at the Great Bay Discovery Center located on Depot Road in Stratham, NH. Diane will lead you on a relaxing three mile walk around quiet neighborhoods at a conversational pace. We welcome new members! Make new friends while getting fit!!

FREE for Stratham residents. Registration Required.


Yummy Yoga

When: Thursday afternoons, June 6th - July 25th from 12:00-1:00PM. (NO class on July 4th)

Where: Meeting Room A at the Stratham Municipal Center

Come join us for Yummy Yoga with Diane Smith, certified Yoga teacher and new Program Assistant for Stratham Parks & Recreation. Enjoy gentle flow yoga geared specifically for those new to yoga or those who are interested in a gentle practice. This class incorporates simple flowing sequences to warm up the body, as well as slower paced movements focusing on alignment, strength, balance, and flexibility.

FREE for Stratham residents. 7 classes for $65.00 for non-residents. Registration Required.

Mah Jong Mondays

MahJong on Mondays from 1pm to 3pm beginning March 4th. This will be a relaxing, fun afternoon as we explore Mahjong. 

Maximum of 8 players


Learn to Play Bridge

When: Friday afternoons from 2:00pm-4:00PM. Starts on Friday February 16th. This is a 10-week series.

Where: Senior Gathering Room at the Stratham Municipal Center

This program is FREE!!! Registration Required.

“2-over-1 GAME FORCE” Want to brush up on your Bridge skills? Join Joe Watts, seasoned Bridge player to learn and play duplicate bridge. A basic knowledge of Bridge is required. I.e., previous experience with “Party Bridge” or Bridge according to Goren. Also intermediate players who would like to learn two over one are welcome. All supplies and lesson handouts will be provided.

Bridge is an excellent “brain” game with both strategy and social interaction being key. Don’t be intimidated, this will be a no pressure friendly atmosphere experience.
