5/20/2020 Recreation Day Camp Cancellation - Learn More!  

Stratham Parks & Recreation offers a variety of summer camps for residents and non-residents. These camps are mostly geared towards kids who have completed Kindergarten through 6th grade but we do have some offerings for pre-schoolers.  Our Summer Recreation Camp offers a counselor in training (CIT) program for Stratham residents currently in 6th and 7th grade. This is a competitive program, not all applicants will be accepted. The deadline to apply is February.  Please contact the P&R office for additional details. 

Recreation Day Camp at SMS
This summer camp runs for five (5) weeks starting in July and is only availible to Stratham resdidents who have completed Kindergarten through those entering 6th grade. Camp hours are from 8:30am - 3pm, before/after camp care is not availible. Registration is availible for full week campers (includes Thursday trip to a NH State Park) or four (4) day campers (M, T, W & F, no Thursday trip).  

Mountain Bike Camp (3rd – 8th graders)
2 weeks of MTB camp in 2020!
9:00am – 12:00pm Advanced mountain bike riders
1:00pm – 4:00pm Beginners to mountain biking
Stratham P&R has partnered again with Seacoast VeloKids to offer a mountain bike camp.  The camp will focus on developing bike skills through group rides, skill stations and games.  Participants must be willing and able to ride for a few hours each day on the single track trails. The riders will also participate in assisting with some trail maintenance like bridge building 101. 
Video-Game Designer Camp* (3rd – 6th grade)
Stop just playing video games and start creating them! In this introductory class participants will learn how to program and create their very own video games. We will learn how to create sprites, objects, levels, backgrounds, sound effects and much more as we create several games that can be shared with family and friends! We'll create a multi-level, customized adventure game complete with zombies, potions, coins, trap doors, and so much more! Participants should bring a flash drive in order to save and take their games home with them.
LEGO® Robotics & Engineering* (1st – 6th grade)
Using the latest LEGO® Power Functions and LEGO® robotics technology, participants will have an opportunity to explore the amazing world of LEGO® robotics and engineering. We will learn about gears, circuits, and computer programming as we design, build, and program a variety of different robotics and engineering projects. Over 50 different projects are available including motorized cars and walkers, remote-controlled tanks, and amusement park rides. We’ll also use iPads to program and control projects built with the new LEGO® EV3! You can even build a Rubik’s Cube Solver! Note: Participants do not take LEGO® projects home.
*Supervised lunch from 11:30-12pm for those participants registered for both Video Game Designer & LEGO® Camp

USSI Multi Sport camp offers your child a unique insight into the world of sport that they’ll never forget. Designed to inspire learning through a range of physical activities and games; our Multi Sport camps are delivered in a low pressure, high energy environment, allowing your child to explore over 15 sports.

USSI's Total Sports Squirts programs allow children aged 3 to 5 to experience a new sport in each session of the program. Participants have the opportunity to try Lacrosse, Soccer, Basketball, T-Ball, Floor Hockey, Flag Football, Parachute Games and more in a safe, structured environment.

USSI’s soccer camps are great for children of all ages and ability levels looking to improve their skills and have fun playing the world's most popular sport.  Your child will have the opportunity to learn and develop the fundamental skills of the game including dribbling, passing, shooting, and defending, all while having a great time with other children.

USSI's Soccer Squirts is the perfect introduction to the most popular sport in the world! Your child will learn the fundamental skills of soccer, including dribbling, passing, shooting and defending. Soccer Squirts classes are taught through structured activities, fun games, and scrimmages and are designed to ensure learning and most importantly: fun, fun, fun!

Seacoast Flag Football ** NEW **
at Municipal Center Fields
8:00am – 12:00pm
Seacoast Youth Flag Football Summer Camp are run by former players, coaches and referees.  Mornings consists of agility drills and flag football skills.  Then players break off in groups to scrimmage each other.  All Players will receive a SYFFL Camp T shirt.
