Conservation Commission Members Present: Bill McCarthy, Bob Keating, Ana Egana; Pat Elwell, Brad Jones

Meeting Called to order @ 7:02 PM

CC minutes:

8-Jan-2020 Public and Non-Public: Ana Egana moved to approve as written; Bob Keating second – motion passed unanimously.

12-Feb-2020 Public: Ana Egana moved to approve with one edit to fix a clerical error; Bob Keating second – motion passed unanimously.

Mailbox:
            Received 2 monitoring reports; 1) Smith, 13 Spring Hill Road, Greenland – no concerns; 2) EGP Development, 173 Winnicut Road – no concerns

            Response from Applicant regarding NHDES request for more information for 8 Oxbow Drive wetland application.

TIF warrant article:
            Nate Merrill requested that CC discuss the possibility of supporting TIF warrant article.  CC felt that the warrant is directed to commercial interests and doesn’t fall within the scope of the commission.  Therefore, the CC will neither support nor oppose the warrant article.

Dog Issues in Town Forest:
            CC discussed the question further, and determined that the CC should be involved but should not necessarily be driving the effort.

Conservation Priorities Document:
            Bill will forward document to the Heritage commission.  No additional feedback from Recreation Commission or PCAC.
