Conservation Commission Members Present: Bill McCarthy, Bill Kenny, Ana Egana, Pat Elwell, Brad Jones, Allison Knab, Dan McAuliffe, Tim Copeland

Meeting Called to order @ 7:34 PM

CC minutes:

11-Mar-2020 Public and Non-Public: Pat Elwell moved to approve as written; Allison Knab second – motion passed unanimously.

Postponement of CC Appointments:

            Bill McCarthy proposed to postpone the re-appointments of term and office positions until after Town Meeting to be consistent with the usual practice.

            Tim Copeland moved to postpone the re-appointments of term and office positions until after Town Meeting; Dan McAuliffe second – motion passed unanimously.

Cancellation of Town Cleanup Day:

            Town cleanup day was scheduled for May 2nd, with a rain date of May 9th, both of which occurred during the governments stay-at-home order. The event was cancelled due to the fact that it would go against the state and town guidelines established for the pandemic response.  Seth Hickey had suggested that people could perform some road cleanup on their own and the availability of the blue bags was posted on the CC Facebook page.

Schedule for future CC meetings:

            Bill McCarthy proposed to move to a once per month meeting cadence during the pandemic when the CC is restricted from meeting in person. Pat Elwell indicated that Ad-hoc meetings could be organized if something important came up that needed to be addressed.

            Pat Elwell moved to have one meeting per month on the 4th Wednesday; Allison Knab second – motion passed unanimously

Old Business:

Phase 1 of the re-opening of Stratham Hill Park to occur after Memorial Day weekend.  There is a 3 phase plan, and the tennis courts will also have a phased re-opening.  Signage with guidance will be posted.

Request that everyone should complete the town survey for trash collection.

Snowhawk contract has been executed, but have been waiting for the park re-opening to begin work

Ana Egana moved to enter Non-Public Session to discuss real estate options, Pat Elwell Second – motion passed unanimously.

8:40 PM

Ana Egana moved to exit Non-Public Session and seal the minutes, Allison Knab Second – motion passed unanimously.

Ana Egana moved to adjourn, Tim Copeland Second– motion passed unanimously; Meeting adjourned

Next regular meeting scheduled for 7 PM on Wednesday, June 24th via teleconference.
