MINUTES FOR STRATHAM ENERGY COMMISSION MEETING

Tuesday September 12, 2017

Meeting to be held at the Municipal Center @ 5:30pm

5:30 PM Call to order

  1. Approve Meeting minutes from August 8, 2017.  Deferred to Oct 2017 meeting.
  2. Solar Update @ Stratham PD
    1. 5:45PM Motion made by Charlie Case to go into non public session to discuss contract progression to execution.  Unanimously voted affirmatively by present members.
    2. 6:00PM.  Motion to come out of non-public session made by M Welty, unanimously voted for approval.  Minutes from public session per Right to Know will be sealed, and will physically accompany the public minutes of meeting.

      Ground Mt Solar Project

    3. See August 2017 SEC minutes for background.  Update below.
    4. Sizing and run of conduit a question.  Colin Laverty is working out the issue.  Length of conduit not an issue, may impact size of conductors to address line loss.  Waiting to hear back from Colin, so main building can be paved over.
    5. Site notes:  SEC to also consult with S Hickey of P&R, to possible use of earmarked site as a skate park.
  1. Energize 360 update:
    1. C Case summarized for visitor Jessie Migneault.  Public information session held July 2017.
    2. Update on PV (ReVision energy).  190 proposals for work.  Of these Stratham has 5 people who have signed up for PV, of various stages of progression.
    3. Weatherization:  4 families signed up, in various stages of progression.
    4. Seacoast Online has run 2 articles.  Upcoming events in Exeter and Kensington.
    5. Other outreach events have listed Stratham.
    6. Unsure on rebates status for 2018
  2. Committee Member Term Renewal (Michael Ream, Matt O’Keefe)
    1. Terms run April to April, or ending once a successor is named.
  3. New Business – N/A
