LED Street Light Conversion
The Town of Stratham and its Energy Commission is pleased to announce an energy saving initiative with Unitil.  Within the week, all of Stratham’s town-owned streetlights (38 in all) will be converted to Light Emitting Diode (LED) street light technology.  Stratham is the first community to implement this conversion in Unitil’s coverage area in New Hampshire.  On Friday, April 5th residents will see work crews installing the new equipment for the conversation.  The conversion will ensure savings for the town in reduced energy costs as well as improve the quality of lighting along streets and intersections improving public safety.

Town Center DES Notification
The Town of Stratham has been made aware of a groundwater contamination notification process recently initiated by NH DES.  DES will be sending a notification to affected private well and public water systems in the area of Town Center.  The Town has established a landing page on its website to serve as a repository for information it receives relative to the process underway at NH DES to respond to the issue in this limited vicinity.  Thanks for your patience as limited information is available at this early stage in the DES process.
