LIGHTS 4 LIVES THANK YOU
Lights 4 Lives began 8 years ago in an attempt to generate community spirit by lighting up our homes for the holidays while helping a family or charity in need.  This year Lights 4 Lives raised $12,000 for the Chambers family, raised awareness of Angelman Syndrome and brought hope of finding a cure for this disabling disease.  The Committee would like to thank the many people it takes to make this event happen - the Stratham Volunteer Fire Department Association, the Stratham Police Department, the Town offices and staff, the businesses that donate every year and the Stratham Memorial School community.  Most importantly, we thank you, the residents of Stratham, for your support of this fundraiser.

FIRE DEPARTMENT PROMOTIONS
Please help us to congratulate Collette Poisson who was recently promoted to EMS Lieutenant by Chief Larrabee.  In addition, the Chief has promoted Chris Heal to Fire Lieutenant.  Congratulations to both Collette and Chris and thank you both for your dedication to Stratham and its safety.

CHRISTMAS TREE PICKUP FUNDRAISER
Stratham Memorial School will be holding their annual Christmas Tree Pickup Fundraiser on Saturday, January 8th.  To have your tree picked up, please follow the instructions on this flyer.  Parks & Recreation will host a Community Bonfire that evening at Stratham Hill Park from 5pm to 8pm.  Join us for this free, fun community event!

OFFICER DOUCETTE HONORED BY M.A.D.D.
We are proud to report that Stratham Patrol Officer Mike Doucette has been recognized by Mothers Against Drunk Driving for his exceptional efforts to make our streets and highways safe from drunk and drugged drivers.  We are fortunate to have Officer Doucette on our team of dedicated police officers.  We remind everyone to stay safe on the roads this holiday season.

HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION DAY RESULTS
Rockingham Planning Commission has submitted the final report on the results of the Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day that was held this past October.  This is an example of regional cooperation of which the Town is a part.  This year Stratham turned out the most households for this event which ensures proper disposal of hazardous substances.  Click here to see the full report hosted on our website.
