A REMINDER ABOUT KEY CURBSIDE COLLECTION DATES
Visit Casella's Stratham website for details and information and remember:

  • The new collection schedule (four days a week) begins Tuesday January 12th.
  • Carts will be delivered the week of the 18th
  • The new automated collection system begins the week of February 2nd (please do not use your carts beforehand).

TRANSFER STATION INFO
Beginning in April, residents will be able to access the Transfer Station on an additional day.  In addition to being open every Saturday from April to November, the station will also be open on Thursdays from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Providing these additional hours are in keeping with residents feedback as well as a recommendation from the Town’s Curbside Collection Advisory Committee.  In addition to the new hours, residents will also be able to drop off household trash at the station.  Residents currently have the ability to drop of commingled recyclables at the Station in addition to other materials.  For more information about the Transfer Station, please visit our website.

PLANNING BOARD PUBLIC HEARINGS 
Next Wednesday January 20th at 7:00 p.m. the Board will hold another hearing on zoning amendments under consideration for this year's Town Meeting.  For information, please see the Planning website.

TOWN SEEKING OFFICE ASSISTANT

REGISTER YOUR DOGS AND BOATS
The Town Clerks office has received the 2021 boat decals and dog tags.  Come in to register them today!

2021 FILING INFORMATION AND POSITIONS OPEN FOR TOWN ELECTION
The filing period for Town and School elected positions starts Wednesday, January 20, 2021 and ends Friday, January 29th, 2021.  Interested candidates will file at the Town Clerk’s Office at the Stratham Municipal Center, 10 Bunker Hill Ave. Stratham.  The hours are Mondays: 8:30 am to 7:00 pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. and Fridays 8:00 am to 12:30 pm. (Please note that on Friday, January 29, 2021 the Town Clerk’s office will be open from 3:00 - 5:00 PM as well, for filing purposes only.) Candidates must be registered voters in the Town of Stratham, and must either apply in person with a photo ID at the Town Clerk’s Office, or if filing by mail, we must have your filing papers in the office by 1/28/2021.

Town positions open for the March 9, 2021 Town Election are:

  • Select Board - 1 position, three year term
  • Library Trustee - 1 position, three year term
  • Trustee of the Trust Funds - 1 position, three year term
  • Cemetery Trustee - 1 position, three year term

Stratham School District elected positions open for the Town Election are:

  • School Board Member- 2 positions, each a three year term
  • School District Clerk - 1 position, three year term

Please note, open elected positions for the Exeter Regional Cooperative School District have also been posted.  Filing for the ERCSD positions is not done at the Stratham Town Offices, see link for more information on where to file).
