OUTREACH EVENT FOR GATEWAY IMPLEMENTATION (TIF DISTRICT)
Building on the October 2019 outreach event related to the Gateway Implementation TIF District, the Select Board will be holding a follow-up event this coming Thursday February 6th at 7:00 p.m. in the Municipal Center.  This event will build on the presentation and discussion from October and include more information about examples of TIF districts as well as provide answers to frequently asked questions.  Please join us on February 6th. 

FEBRUARY 10TH PUBLIC HEARING ON THE WARRANT
The Public Hearing notice on the Warrant has been posted.  On February 10th, the Select Board will present proposed and potential warrant articles in a public hearing in accordance with State law.  For more information about what is currently under consideration, see the public hearing notice below.  This presentation for the evening will include information about the Town’s budget and capital improvement planning. The deadline for petitioned articles to be submitted to the Town Clerk is February 4th.  Any petition article submitted in accordance with the State laws will be discussed at the public hearing.

VOTER INFORMATION NIGHT
On Tuesday, March 3rd at 7:00pm in Room A at the Municipal Center, the Wiggin Memorial Library will host a Voter Information Night.  Come hear the candidates, learn about Warrant Articles and get information on the Town and Schools.

TOWN OFFICES CLOSED FOR BUSINESS DURING PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY
Please note, the Town Offices and Library will be closed for business with the public on Tuesday February 11th.  Staff resources (and parking spaces etc.) are needed to facilitate the election related activity.  Thank you for your patience.

CLEAN UP DAY!
Save the date - the Conservation Commission will be sponsoring the next Clean Up Day on Saturday, May 2nd (rain date May 9th).  Stay tuned for further details.

HERITAGE COMMISSION EVENT
Steve Taylor, former State Agriculture Commissioner and popular New Hampshire Humanities speaker, will present “New Hampshire Roads Taken – Or Not” in an evening program sponsored by the Heritage Commission and supported by “Humanities To Go.”  Taylor’s talk will review the history of New Hampshire’s highway choices in the last century and the economic, social, and cultural changes that followed those decisions. The program will be in the Morgera Room at the Stratham Fire House, Winnicutt Rd., on Friday, February 7, at 7PM.

PCAC LOOKING FOR NEW MEMBERS
Do you ride your bike or walk in Stratham? The PCAC wants you to help in making Stratham a more livable community! 

The Pedestrian and Cyclist Advocacy Committee (PCAC)  is seeking additional members to assist it on its charge to integrate the needs of pedestrian and bicyclists into current and future infrastructure plans for Stratham in accordance with the Town’s 2019 Master Plan
