Please note:  Town Offices will be closed on Monday, October 10th in observance of the holiday.  

The Select Board has found it necessary to reschedule two of their previously scheduled meetings.  The October 17th meeting will be moved to Thursday, October 20th.  The meeting scheduled for November 7th will be moved to Tuesday, November 1st.

The Wiggin Memorial Library is seeking a dynamic and talented Library Director with proven management skills and excellent library knowledge to provide leadership in its vibrant community library.  Read more here.

The October Stratham Memorial School Board Meeting will be held at 39 Gifford Farm Road on Wednesday, October 19th at 5 p.m.  The agenda will be posted a week prior at www.sau16.org  If you can't attend the meeting in person, watch the recording here Blue Hawk Media

FALL ANTIQUES APPRAISAL DAY
Mark your calendars!  Sunday, October 23, the Stratham Historical Society will host "Stratham's Antique Road Show" from 1:00 - 3:00.  This event will take place in the Morgera Room at the Stratham Fire Department.  Find more details here.


HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION DAY
The Household Hazardous Waste Collection day will be Saturday, October 15 from 8 am - 12 pm at the Exeter Public Works Garage, Newfields Rd (Rt 85).  Preregistration is required.  There is a flat fee of $15 to offset the costs of collection.  Click here for important information.

DAY-LONG TRAINING EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT TRAINING
The New Hampshire Department of Safety’s Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (HSEM) along with the Town of Stratham will conduct a training on Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., in Stratham Hill Park.  Read more here.

Stratham Hill Park, along with the dog park on Jack Rabbit Lane, will be closed all day on Thursday, October 27th.

TRICK OR TREAT NIGHT SET
Happy Halloween!  The Select Board has determined that this year's Trick or Treat night will be held on Monday, October 31st from 5:00 - 7:30 pm.  Be safe and have fun! 


DROUGHT UPDATE
At their regular meeting, on October 3, the Select Board agreed to move to a Level 1 water restriction effective Wednesday, October 12 (following the required posting period).  All efforts to curb and reduce use of water during this time will benefit water supplies we all rely on.  

A Level 1 restriction means:

  • Lawn watering by odd numbered addresses is allowed on odd numbered days.
  • Lawn watering by even numbered addresses is allowed on even numbered days.
  • Lawn watering shall not occur between the hours of 8AM and 7PM.

The RSA water restriction regulation adopted by the Board can be found on the Town’s Drought Resource Page.

SQUAMSCOTT ROAD CULVERTS NH DOT PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL MEETING - Oct. 13th at 6:00 pm
