Stormwater and Stratham's MS4 Permit

The Town of Stratham is required to comply with the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)'s New Hampshire Small MS4 General Permit.  This page has been compiled to illustrate the Town's compliance with this permit as well as to provide educational materials to the residents of Stratham... we all play a role in assisting with compliance!

Public comment on Stratham's Stormwater Management Program is accepted on an ongoing basis. The document is available for review here:  SWMP.  Comments should be directed to the Town Planner by letter or email to planning@strathamnh.gov.

MCM # 2, Public Involvement and Participation

  • Household Hazardous Waste Day:  Stratham participates in one annual event that is held in the fall at the Town of Exeter Public Works. Residents must store their HHW materials until the events are held.
  • Stratham hosts a Community Clean-up Day each May.  This fun, family-friendly event is an annual success!  A big thank you to all who participate!
