SAVE THE DATE - Household Hazardous Waste Day will be held on Saturday October 16th.  More details to come in future newsletters and social media postings.

CURBSIDE COLLECTION DELAY
Due to the Labor Day holiday, trash and recycling pick up the week of September 6th will be delayed by one day on all routes.  That means regular Tuesday pick-ups will be on Wednesday and thence onward for each remaining pick-up day that week.  If you have any questions, please call 772-7391 ext 187.

PAVING
Bell & Flynn will start repaving the Crestview Terrace neighborhood streets, including Crestview Terrace, Robin Glenn Road, Shirley Lane and Mark Avenue, this coming Monday, August 30th.  If you see paint markings on or near the roadway, these are relevant to utility mark-outs.  Paving is expected to be completed during the week of September 6th.  All work is weather dependent.

TRAIL MANAGEMENT SURVEY REMINDER
The Trail Management Advisory Committee has put together a survey for users of the park.  They want to hear from you!  Please take a minute to fill out this survey.  Your input is important!

To stay up to date on the meetings and events for the SHP Trail Management Advisory Committee, please subscribe here and click Stratham Hill Park Trail Management Advisory Committee under News, Agendas and Minutes.

Our previous newsletter included a more detailed update of the Committee's work.

A LOOK BACK at 1991 MICROBURST AT STRATHAM HILL PARK
WMUR-TV recently did a look back at the 1991 tragedy in Stratham Hill Park - 30 years ago on August 18th.  The link to the video below may be of interest to new residents who are unaware of the story and a reminder to longer-term residents of not only the event but the effort in the community to rebuild.  Today's pavilion is dedicated in honor of those that lost their lives on that day. The link to the WMUR video can be found here

WIGGIN MEMORIAL LIBRARY OFFERING FREE ONLINE ACCESS TO THE WALL STREET JOURNAL
The Wiggin Memorial Library is proud to announce that we are now offering free online access to the Wall Street Journal.  Anywhere you can get online – home or work or on the go – you can read the WSJ for free!

How does it work?  Simply go to our online catalog and log into your library account with your library card number and password.  (If you're not sure about either of these, or if you need to get a new library card, just call us and we'll get you all set up.)  Then click the link to the Wall Street Journal from our catalog home page and set up your free WSJ account.  Access includes:
•       Digital versions of the print editions
•       The WSJ Magazine
•       Profiles, financials, and research & ratings of thousands of companies
•       U.S., Asia, Europe, India, China, and Japan editions

Your access will be available for 3 days and then automatically expire.  After 3 days, simply come back and click the link again, then log in as an existing user with the same username and password you already created.  Please note: The Wall Street Journal apps do not work for library users, but the web version works very well with small screen devices.  And yes, you can still come in to the library and peruse the paper in print.

Please let us know what you think of this new service at 772-4346 or library@wigginml.org.
