Dear Stratham Residents,

Here are a few timely announcements from the Select Board, which we think are worthy of a "special edition". We will reach back out at the end of the week on our regular schedule.  Thank you for your engagement!

A MESSAGE FROM THE STRATHAM FAIR
The Stratham Fair Board of Directors requests your input on the Stratham Fair.  It has been absent for the past two years due to COVID-19, and now we need to re-assess our path forward.  Please take a minute to complete this short pulse survey before November 20.

ROADWORK ON UNION ROAD
The Town has contracted Bell & Flynn Inc. to overlay the segment of Union Rd. from Winnicutt Rd. to High Street.  Work is expected to begin the week of November 1, 2021. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we make these improvements. PARKS AND RECREATION / STRATHAM HILL PARK 
With the recent weather and winter approaching, we expect trees to come down at Stratham Hill Park leaving trails unpassable. Please be sure to report all these issues via email to parks-rec@strathamnh.gov. This will help us maintain the trails and allow passable access to the public. Be sure to include a location and picture of the damaged area (ex. Lincoln trail, tree down).

VETERANS DAY CEREMONY
Please join us on Thursday, November 11th at 11:00 am for a ceremony to honor veterans.  It will be held at the Veteran's Memorial Garden at Stratham Hill Park.  Additional information, including a program will be forthcoming.  Once again, this event is spearheaded by community volunteers dedicated to ensuring a solemn and thoughtful observation of Veterans Day in Stratham.  We thank them and all of the Stratham residents who attend.
