MESSAGE FROM THE TOWN CLERK: VOTER ALERT
We have received information from residents (and the NH Secretary of State) that NH voters have received unidentified (and unsolicited) mailers containing an absentee ballot application form.  The mailing includes a note intended to appear as if handwritten. This has caused confusion for those who have already submitted absentee ballot applications.  If you have already submitted an absentee ballot application, you do not need to submit a new one.

Please see more about this from the NH Secretary of State on our website:

LIBRARY NEWS
Congratulations Marcia MacCallum!
After 35 remarkable years at the Wiggin Memorial Library, our own Marcia has retired. On Saturday, September 26 we celebrated her with a surprise car parade and a small family and staff gathering. Many thanks to all who were in the parade (those cars just kept coming!) and who have sent cards and notes for Marcia. We’ll miss her daily smile, but can’t wait until the day when she can come and volunteer!

Congratulations, Marcia!

Library Pick-up Has Moved Inside!
As colder weather arrives (and we know what will follow it!), we have moved pick-up of books to our front hallway. And – great news! – you will have more hours available for pick-up. Hallway pick-up will be available Monday to Wednesday 10 am – 6 pm, and Thursday and Friday 10 am – 2 pm. We’ll call you to say when the items will be ready and when you come to pick-up, just come through the front door and your bag of items will be in that hallway. You can request titles for pick-up either online (https://catalog.library.strathamnh.gov) or by calling 772-4346. The entrance into the main library is only opened for browsing appointments (see more information about appointments below).

Browsing Appointments
You can’t come all the way into the library during Hallway Pick-up, but you can make an appointment to come inside the library to browse! We are offering 30-minute appointments on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Call us to reserve a spot or ask for the time slots available: 772-4346.
