Town Meeting Summary of Action on Articles
Thank you to all the residents who attended Town Meeting on Saturday, July 11th.  It was good to see friends and neighbors again.  A special thank you is due to the Town Office team and staff at the Stratham Memorial School and our Moderator for their work in ensuring Town Meeting could take place and could take place safely.

The Town Meeting 2020 website has been updated with results of voting on the various articles.  You can see the results and the other materials posted in support of the articles there.

Police Department Survey
The Stratham Police Department needs your help!  The Department is asking Stratham residents to fill out a brief survey to help determine the best ways it can serve the community.  Deadline for submission is Friday, August 14th.   The survey link can be found here.

Census Reminder
This week the Rockingham Planning Commission reported out on response rates in our region.  Stratham's rate of response is 81%, that's a pretty good rate..... but if you haven't already please fill out those questions at my2020census.gov.

Town Offices & COVID
Another step in advancing on the phases in our Operations Plan is being put into effect.  For many weeks, the Town Clerk's office has been serving residents with face-to-face transactions in the Town Offices and residents should continue to call the phone number on the main entrance door when they arrive that office.  Beginning this week, residents are welcome to make appointments ahead of time with staff in the various other departments by contacting the numbers for each department (contact list).  Please contact the relevant number to set up your appointment.  Wherever possible, we continue to encourage the use of phone, e-mail, and online payment processing. Thank you to everyone for your patience and cooperation and please remember, masks are required inside the Town Offices.

Drought Conditions - A note from DES
New Hampshire has had below normal precipitation which has led to drought conditions throughout the state.  To protect your well supply, it is recommended that outdoor water use be limited and water use be staggered, allowing the well time to recharge between demands.  NHDES urges the public to be conservation-minded and abide by restrictions.
